Audrey Bakx was born in Luxembourg and lives in Bordeaux, France. She studied at the Jewellery department before graduating in Fine Arts at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. In 2006, she attended a six months residency through one of the programmes of Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes in Fougères, France. She has participated in shows in France, Turkey, Germany and the Netherlands.

Anna Bas Backer was born in the Netherlands. She currently lives in Berlin, Germany. She studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, USA, and at the Rietveld Academie, where she completed a BFA in Fine Arts. In 2005, she was nominated for the Royal Prize for Painting in the Netherlands. She has exhibited her work in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Kosovo, Argentina, China and Colombia. With her comics work she has been involved in publications in Argentina, Colombia and Germany. She has participated in the residency programmes of El Basilisco in Buenos Aires and Lugar a Dudas in Colombia.

Mirya Gerardu was born in Germany and lives in Berlin. She studied at the Rietveld Academie before continuing her studies at the graduate programme of the Institute of Art in Context in Berlin. She was supported by grants from the VSB Fund and the talent programme of Nuffic. She has participated in exhibitions in the Netherlands and Germany.
Rolf Graf was born in Heiden, Switzerland and lives in Berlin. He studied at the Ecole Superieur d'Art Visuel, ESAV, in Geneva with Profs. Silvie and Cherif Defraoui and at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf with Prof. Jannis Kounellis. His solo exhibitions include Kunstverein Düsseldorf, Galerie Susanna Kulli, Zürich, Kunstraum Kreuzlingen, Kunstmuseum Solothurn and Kunsthaus Glarus. He was a resident at the Istituto Svizzero in Rome in 2002.
Aurelio Kopainig was born in Switzerland and lives in Berlin. He studied at the School of Art and Design in Zürich, the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and at the San Francisco Art Institute. His shows include exhibitions in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland and Argentina. In 2008 he received the Swiss Art Award. He participated in the residency programmes of El Basilisco, Buenos Aires, and Casino Luxembourg, Forum d'art contemporain.

Julia Mensch was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied at the School of Fine Arts Manuel Belgrano and at the National University of Art, IUNA, in Buenos Aires. Recently she took part in the residency programs Villa Sträuli in Winterthur, Switzerland and Blumen in Leipzig, Germany. Her shows include exhibitions in Argentina, Canada, China, Germany and Switzerland. She currently studies as a guest student at Hito Steyerl’s class at the UDK, Berlin, Germany. She lives and works in Berlin and Buenos Aires.

Sara Pape García was born in the Netherlands and lives in Madrid, Spain. She studied at the St. Joost Academie voor Kunst en Vormgeving in Breda, and at the Rietveld Academie. Her work has been exhibited in shows in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Kosovo. In 2006 she was invited for a residency by the European Ceramic Work Centre in 's Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, as part of a programme of Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes.

Betty Ras was born in the Netherlands and lives in Amsterdam. She has completed a MA in Sociology at the University of Amsterdam, studied Photography and Fine Arts at the Rietveld Academie, and took part in the interdisciplinary MFA programme at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, USA. She has participated in exhibitions in the USA, the Netherlands, Germany and Kosovo.

Paul Steenberghe was born in the Netherlands and lives in Amsterdam. He received a bachelor degree in business administration, a MA in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam, before graduating in Fine Arts at the Rietveld Academie. In 2002, he took part in the interdisciplinary MFA programme at Carnegie Mellon University. His work has been shown in exhibitions in the Netherlands, the USA, Venezuela and Germany. As part of his projects, he made performative appearances in a number of television shows.

Yu Xiao Feng was born in China and lives in Chongqing. He attended the Chongqing Teacher Training University, specialising in media studies, before graduating in Photography at the Rietveld Academie. He is currently a professor of Photography at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing. He has participated in exhibitions in China, the Netherlands, and France.

Gerardo Gómez Tonda was born in Mexico City. He currently lives in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. In 2006 he finished BFA in “La Esmeralda” ENPEG, in Mexico City. Gerardo has exhibited his work in Mexico, Spain, Japan and Turkey.
